In this exclusive 2-hour experience, we are grateful to welcome Dr. Essex, who will offer targeted dry needling in 3 specific areas on/around the third eye. These powerful points are located along the along brow line (Frontalis) and lower center of the forehead (third eye).

While dry needling is often used for local muscle tension, these specific points are chosen for their profound systemic impact. By gently signaling the nervous system to shift from "fight or flight" into a state of ease, this intervention works to improve microcirculation and decrease inflammation throughout the entire body.

As we approach the Spring Equinox, the earth is bursting with new life, urging us to shake off the dormancy of winter and expand into our full potential. This special sound bath is designed to align you with that rising energy, offering a unique collaboration between ancient sound healing and precise physiological activation. PREPARATION

Arrival: Arrive 5-10 minutes early to ground in

Parking: Enter through the gates into the grove. of trees, veer left at the barn silo, and park in gravel lot!

What To Wear: Removable layers suggested, ensuring accessibility to forehead and arm area from elbow to hand.

WHAT IS DRY NEEDLING?

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique where a healthcare professional inserts thin, solid needles into a muscle's trigger points (knots of tension) or homeostatic points to alleviate pain and improve muscle function, with no injection of medication involved; it is often performed by physical therapists. Dry needling can treat muscular skeletal pain, it can release muscle tension, which can help with stress.

Carissa Essex is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over a decade of clinical experience. A graduate of George Washington University, she specializes in treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, chronic pain, and sports injuries. Certified in advanced dry needling, Carissa blends her deep knowledge of anatomy with holistic healing techniques to offer an integrative approach to wellness.

THE SETTING

Held on the second floor of Hope Flower Farm’s beautifully renovated dairy barn, a light-filled haven with soaring cathedral ceilings and rustic charm. Surrounded by gardens views, this sacred loft space offers a peaceful, elevated retreat for sound, stillness, and soulful renewal. Please note, this location requires walking up one flight of stairs to the 2nd floor.
