This Mother’s Day, step into a magical sanctuary of sound, nature, and gratitude. This free event is open to everyone who pre-registers, whether you’re coming alone for some much-needed "me time," bringing your children, or gathering your entire family to honor the maternal spirits in your lives. While this event is free, only those who pre-register will be permitted to attend. Limited spaces available so pre-register if you plan to come!

Join us at the stunning Hope Flower Farm in Waterford, VA, for an afternoon of deep connection, creative play, and restorative sound. We’ve thought of every intentional detail to make this a memory that lasts: from sound baths and kids' activities to fresh blooms, farm animals, and live music.

THE FLOW OF THE DAY

10:45 AM: Ohm Dome Doors Open: Hot Tea Bar & Finding your "Nesting Spot" in the barn

11:00 AM - 11:10 AM: Sound Bath officially begins in upper dairy barn; Little Ohmies (ages 4-14) begins in lower level dairy barn for a supervised Mother's Day craft

12:45 PM - 1:00 PM: Sound Bath Concludes & Little Ohmies return upstairs

1:00 PM – Onward: Pop-Up Shops, Live Music, Food, Wine, Gorgeous Flower Bouquets and Farm Fun

THE EXPERIENCE

The Sound Bath (Upstairs in the Dairy Barn)

Guests will gather for a heart-centered immersion of sound and rhythm to honor the gratitude and power of motherhood. Note on the "Vibe": We want to ensure our guests understand that while we will work hard to maintain a peaceful environment with minimal distractions, this is not your typical silent Ohm Dome sound bath. It is a celebration of family life. You may hear the happy pitter-patter of children in the workshop below, occasional toddler giggles, or the bustling energy of other families enjoying the farm outside. We embrace these sounds as part of the day's magic! For younger ones who prefer to stay in the sound bath, if they may fidget and struggle to stay in calm and quiet mode for a 1-hour period, it is suggested to bring maybe a note pad to draw on or quiet activity they can do that will not distract others around them.

"Little Ohmies" Crafting (Downstairs in Dairy Barn during Sound Bath)

Children (Ages 4-14) are invited to our supervised crafting area that will take place at the same time of the sound bath to create a special Mother's Day keepsake. This is an optional offering; all ages are welcome in the sound bath session if they prefer to stay with you.

The magic doesn't end when the sound bath does! We encourage you to make a day of it:

• Fresh Eats & Drinks: Hope Flower Farm will have food and wine available for purchase on-site. * Picnic in the Gardens: Bring a picnic blanket, purchase some local fare, and find a spot on our 26 acres to relax.

• Live Music: 2PM - 5PM Enjoy the live music from local artists, Mo & Mary Mac Music, as you soak in the spring air.

• The Farm's Chorus: Keep an ear out for 🐓Bernard the Rooster and his "cock-a-doodle-doos," and say hello to our resident 🐄Oreo cows, 🐓chickens, and 🫏 donkeys (from a safe distance behind the fence). And we are confident you will come across the king of the farm himself, Jack Cat 🐈!

Held on the second floor of Hope Flower Farm’s beautifully renovated dairy barn, a light-filled haven with soaring cathedral ceilings and rustic charm. Surrounded by gardens views, this sacred loft space offers a peaceful, elevated retreat for sound, stillness, and soulful renewal.

LOGISTICS & COMFORT

• Accessibility: The sound bath is on the 2nd level (stairs only). We have six zero-gravity chairs available for anyone with mobility needs. Please note in your registration to reserve one.

• Allergies: This is a working flower farm; please prepare for any pollen or farm animals.

• What to Bring: Yoga mat, water bottle, and "comfort items" (pillows/blankets), and picnic blanket if you decide to stay after your experience. The barn is sheltered, but not temperature controlled.

THE GIFT OF COMMITMENT

While this event is free, space is limited. Only those who are confirmed registered will be permitted to attend. This also means that by registering, you are committing to filling a spot that another family would love to have. Please be mindful of this when registering.

• Registration: Please register each individual (adults and children) separately so we have proper head count and prepare enough materials.

• Cancellations: If you must cancel, please email vibe@ohmdome.org at least 72 hours prior so your spot can be gifted to another family on our waiting list.

• Donations: If you feel called to support, Venmo/PayPal links included below and QR codes will be available on-site. This is never expected, but always appreciated!
